Team Sharif Sells supports the #whatsmyname.org Foundation. When a College student was picked up by a fake ride share operator and murdered, their parents strove to make ride shares safer for future riders. The #WHATSMYNAME Foundation was established in honor of Samantha Josephson their daughter.
#whatsmyname’s mission is helping to save lives and helping to prevent sexual assaults. #Whatsmyname found discovered that this a bigger issue then first thought or when this happened. I.e public information both Uber and Lyft reported and released that between the both of them that there was over ten Thousand sexual assaults reported and 29 deaths. This was included in the safety reports published by both companies. Uber’s report for 2017/18 had 5,981 sexual assaults and 19 deaths. Lyft released there’s in 2017/18/19 and reported 4,158 sexual assaults and 10 deaths. Samantha’s was in March 29th 2019. Not even included in their latest reports.
Their mission is to teach ride share safety, prevent sexual assaults or worse while supporting charitable organizations and providing college scholarships to selected high school seniors.
